· Welcome back Dave Tobias – returns with a joint winning 18 points plus a nearest the pin! A clear case of absence makes the heart grow fonder – how often is that the truth in golf!
· Daniel Waterhouse sporting a new racy haircut shaved shots off his game with 18 points as joint leader on the night
· Andrew Smolak started birdie EAGLE holing his 2nd on the tough 11th. This serious eclectic move has put him less than a shot behind Filip Ranebo in eclectic 8 – he also won the gross with a 37 AND he has achieved an EGF handicap of +.4 – an outstanding achievement.
· Filip Ranebo shaved a further shot to take the new eclectic record down to 60 – 2 weeks left to make the unbelievable 59!
· RICHARD AYBAR beat OB Sealey and collected the winning trophy (see attached photo) – great trophy Stephen Rutter!!!!
· Peter Scherer also made a positive comeback with 17 points alongside Pedro Kafie
· Kent Gray got nearest the pin on the 12th hole
There is as always an exciting finale set up for Eclectic 8 – Filip ahead by a fraction over Andrew Smolak with Simon, Kristi, OB and Richard Aybar all within reach of the magnificent trophy!!
Monday October 20th Front 9 results

· Simon Earl commanded the evening shooting 36 gross for 20 points and making a strong eclectic move – great golf Mr Earl!
· Richard Aybar raced to a 3 up lead in the matchplay final over OB Sealey winning the first 3 holes with some astounding recovery play! OB held him for the rest of the 6 holes so needs to make his move next week – he has 2 shots so it is FAR from over!

· Derek Daly and newcomer Bertrand Bougeon won the NTP’s on 2nd and 5th holes.
