The quality of golf is significantly improving week by week as we move towards the end of the 6th eclectic. We again reached the heady heights of an average 15 points scored across the field .
The winning scores saw records being broken – congratulations to Richard Aybar for a career best:
1st Richard Aybar 22 points (40 gross)
2nd Matthieu Charnelet 19 points (37 gross)
2nd Ian Haughton 19 points
4th= Hayley Nolan, Donal O’Donoghue, Filip Ranebo (35 gross) Pedro Kafie – all 18 points

Monday April 21st - Faldo front 9
Another big night down at M's as we come to week 10 of eclectic 6.
Conares Society league hero, Fathi Al Busaidy won with 19 points, while golfing couple of the year, OB Sealey and Kristi Sealey were 2nd and 4th with 18 and 17 points respectively.
Newcomer Dave Tobias was equal 2nd on 18 points with the nearest the pins going to Samantha Allen and OB Sealey.
Several major movers on the eclectic which is undoubtedly the most competitive finish yet with 10 players all within 5 shots with 2 weeks to go. Jonathan Coates leads but there are some VERY big names chasing him down….watch this space!
This week we welcomed newcomers Dave Tobias, Richard Aybas Snr (from Puerto Rico) and Peter Taylor (from Australia) and welcomed back Herbert Pohl.
Monday April 14th Faldo back 9
The finest golf of the S2B society so far. Average score 15 points and several highlights to report:
· Personal best of 40 gross and 23 points for Chris Darnley
· Level par 36 from Andrew Smolak not even in the prizes at 18 points
· Gross 69, 3 under par for James Yeomans over 18 holes
· Back 9 of 37 for newcomer Joon Eun for 19 points
· Donal O’Donoghue also scored 19 points
· Nearest pins were Joon Eun and Derek Daly
We welcomed several new members including Dave/Sandra Formas, Paolo and Andrea (DWC representatives), and visitors Charles Decoste, Joon Eun, Seng Ee Beck, Masoud Sobati and Ben Earl.
Monday April 7th
Thank you to all who played on Monday April 7th, despite 5 late pull outs we still had a great turnout and some fine golf played on the tough front 9. Winners are grinners!
1st Erick Koeman (gross 38) Russell Yeomans (gross 36) and Akram Skaik (newcomer on winners rostrum) all 17 points.
4th= Filip Ranebo (gross 37) and James Yeomans (gross 37) both 16 points, but some excellent gross scores on the evening.
NTP - Richard Mulholland on 2nd and Filip Ranebo on 8th.
