July 1st: Faldo Front Canada Day Celebrations

July 1st is Canada's Birthday, and we all know how patriotic Canadians are so we had a red & white themed evening & Chloe even brought some Tim Horton's Timbits for the group. For those who dont know - and shame on you if you dont - Tim Hortons is a Canadian coffee chain started by ice hockey player Tim Hortons. The chain has opened quite a few outlets across Dubai & is gaining popularity... other than coffee, it's famous for its donuts and donut holes aka timbits. Ok end Tim Hortons promo now!

Despite the warm hot weather, still good turnouts each week - and we wont stop during Ramadan or throughout the summer.

In first place, Canadian Andrew Smolak won with an outstanding 20 points ! A fantastic feat for the Front 9 Faldo course, as its so tricky and challenging.
We had a tied for second place between Andy Law & Arnold Bremann with 18 points each. Again, great scores for the Faldo Front 9.

NTP included Canadian Chloe Goodfellow & Dave Minchin

We collected 85 AED for the 3 putt fund.

We welcomed Charmaine Bruwer & Eamonn Kerr.

Winners of the night: Chloe (NTP), Andrew (1st), Arnold (2nd), Andy (2nd) & Dave (NTP)

Wonderful society members who wore red !
