· We welcomed Chris Coupland who joined us as a guest and we very much look forward to Chris returning to the UAE to be a part of our society and Michael Lennon to their first Monday event.
The Sport2Business team played the Gulf Teachers International (GTI) last weekend at Sharjah in the 2nd round of the Conares Society League – James and Russell Yeomans charged to a 4 and 3 victory while Andrew Smolak and Filip Ranebo despite a very credible better ball score of 1 under par were defeated 3 and 1. After 2 fixtures we are 1 victory off the top of the league but we need 2 victories in our next fixture in January to ensure we make the quarter finals and remain positioned to defend the trophy.
