Eclectic 9 week 10 of 14 – Faldo Back 9

Winter in Dubai was as its best on Monday -sweaters and windcheaters were covering our colourful S2B golf shirts. The rain can disrupt the roads and cause chaos but it will never stop Monday night golf!

This week’s winners were (photo attached):-

·        1st – With his first S2B Win – Peter Donaldson with 20 points!

·         2nd – Simon Earl with 19 points also winner of the gross with 36!!

·         3rd– Nick Chittenden with 18 points, good to see Nick back in the winners circle.

·         “Nearest to the Pin” Dave Minchin on the 17th and OB Sealey on the 13^th

Due to the Dubai Desert Classic, Emirates Golf Club will be closed on Monday, 26^th January 2015; because of this we have instead booked The Track at the Meydan. The price is AED 205.00 per person. Please kindly let us know by Thursday, 22^nd  January 2015 if you would like to play.

Eclectic 9 week 9 of 14 – Faldo Front 9

Great buzz at M’s, we saw several returnees, plenty of ‘new blood’ and the first eagle of Eclectic 9!

This week’s winners were (photo attached):-

·        Joint  1st – Russell Yeomans and Colin Gow with 17 points!

·         Joint 2nd – Michael Lennon, Kenny Babcock & Sam Dormer with 16 points.

·         Kenny Babcock  and Russell Yeomans won the gross with 38 (Russell eagled on the 3^rd)

·         “Nearest to the Pin” Dave Minchin on the 2^nd and Kenny Babcock on the 9^th

·         We welcomed Ross Lawrie, Edouard Griveaud and Kenny Babcock to their first S2B outing.

·         We welcomed back Ian Houghton, Sam Dormor, Benoit Montin, Dave Minchin & Chris Parker

·         We missed Kristi Sealey who has been in hospital and is now recovering at home from a very nasty virus and we wish her a speedy recovery.

Eclectic 9 week 8 of 14 – Faldo Back 9

Another great night at M’s!

As mentioned last night the Eclectic 9 will be extended to 14 weeks instead of 12 due to the festive period!

·         1st – Jonathan Gunning with 21 points! Well done to Jon as this was his 1^st win

·         2nd – Richard Aybar with 19 points.

·         Simon Earl  and Richard Aybar won the gross with 37

·         “Nearest to the Pin” Richard Aybar on the 15^th and Joerg Muller on the 17th

·         We welcomed Rudi Klingenschmid  to the group and welcomed back after two years Eugene Beriaus and Stephan Maurais who were passing through town.

On a more serious note, if you are due to play and cannot attend then you must let us know, rather than not turn up…. Please think of your team mates!
