Another great evening for Week 3 for our Faldo Eclectic ! We had great attendance for this week and it was nice to see so many people in the prizes -

We had a three way for first place between Jonathan Coats (first time winner!), Fathi Busaidy & Andy Morris with 18 points each - Congratulations!

For second place, we had another tie between Randy Mohammed and Filip Ranebo with 16 points.

NTP winners included Andrew Smolak and Roger Lee

We welcomed Richard Davies, Andy Morris, and David Jordan to the group this week! And it was good to see a few people back - Stephen Harvey, Dan Morby (Victor York Singapore), Herbert Pohl, and Guillaume Hess

Nov 11th Faldo Back 9

Back to the Faldo Back 9 this week !
We were a smaller than usual group, but we proved to have a high group average of 15 points.
Well done group :)

Chris Darnley won the evening with 20 points scoring his personal best. Had the pleasure to be in his group, and he was playing well to say the least. Great stuff Chris !

A tie between Russell Yeomans and Eric Koeman with 17 points each - well done. Russell welcome back after your small hiatus.

Roger made a great shot that was nearly a hole in one... and quite exciting to watch it roll ever so slightly by the hole.

Our new society shirts have arrived ! Be sure to get yours at our next event for only 100 AED - they are lightweight antibacterial and quite stylish.

No newcomers this week ~ but if you like our society, please do feel free to invite your friends and colleagues to join. Im happy to send them an intro email and answer questions they may have.

 

 

Dubai Creek WTC Club

Excellent day out on the course on Thursday November 7th at the World Trade Centre Club golf tourney at the Dubai Creek.

Thanks to those that came out and made it a wonderful afternoon and evening !

Big congratulations to Elsie Bruce who won the event with 31 stableford points - winning some wonderful prizes including WTC Club membership, 2 nights at the Waldorf Astoria RAK, trophy and more. Very proud of Elsie and happy to have spent the afternoon playing as her partner.

Sekhar Reddy won second place with 30 points - also winning a loot of prizes. Well done !

Nearest to the pin winner was Peter Scherer
Longest Drive winner was Chloe Goodfellow

Nov 4th Meydan

On Monday night, we were back at the Meydan course for our 10th event in the 12 week Meydan Eclectic. Its a tight leaderboard with everyone trying to make a run with just a few events left. The weather is now perfect for golf making it nicer to on course whilst enjoying the cooler breezes.

Considering Halloween weekend had just passed, we also decided to theme the evening in Black and Orange. Nice to see people out in theme, and they were rewarded with a few golf balls provided by our regular member, Randy Mohammed. Thanks Randy, much appreciated !

This week Simon Earl scored 18 points to win first place. Nice to see Simon back in the winners circle! Not far behind in second place was Tej Ghuldu who started his round off with a birdie on hole 1. Well done. Congrats Simon & Tej!
